Last Friday we had the opportunity to attend another training session led by our expert teacher. Lluís from quickcomputers.net. The course was aimed at our webmasters from all the offices of IndianWebs within the company's continued training plan for 2014.
During this session he instructed us in the famous CMS Symphony. This program is little known among us, and a minority among our clients' websites. For this reason, it aroused great interest among those attending: Heber, Joaquin Sempere, Pedro Gómez, Óscar, Borja, and our friend and good collaborator Luis Giraldez.
Symphony, for those of you who are not familiar is a framework for building web applications with PHP. In other words, Symfony is a huge set of tools and utilities that simplify web application development.

For those new to frameworks, Symfony is one of the best PHP copies of the famous Ruby on Rails framework. Symfony has taken the best ideas from Rails and many other frameworks, incorporated its own ideas and the result is an elegant, stable, productive and very well documented framework.

Symfony uses the traditional MVC (model-view-controller) design pattern to separate the different parts that make up a web application. The model represents the information with which the application works and is responsible for accessing the data.
