What is the 'Digital Kit' program?

The Kit Digital aid program is a program of aid financed by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds, whose objective is to achieve the digitization of SMEs and the self-employed. This program is endowed with 3.067 million euros and is framed in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the 2021-2025 SME Digitization Plan.

It is an aid program made available by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation whose objective is to finance the costs of digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies throughout the national territory.

How do I request the digital voucher?

What digital solutions can I choose?

  • Segment II: Companies with 3 to 9 employees at €6.000

  • Segment III: Companies with 0 to 2 employees at €2.000

What are the requirements to be a beneficiary of the aid?

All small businesses, micro-businesses and self-employed people who meet the following requirements may benefit:

  • Being considered a small business or micro-business in accordance with the provisions of Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 of the Commission, of June 17, 2014
  • Be registered in the Census of businessmen, professionals and withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency and have the minimum required seniority
  • Not be considered a company in crisis
  • Be up to date with tax obligations and against Social Security.
  • Not be subject to a pending recovery order following a prior decision by the European Commission
  • Not be involved in any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003
  • Not be involved in any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003
  • Do not exceed the limit of de minimis aid in accordance with the provisions of article 2.3 of the regulatory bases.
  • Comply with and guarantee the principle of not causing significant damage, contained in Regulation (EU) 2020/852
  • Have the evaluation of the Digital Maturity Level, according to the diagnostic test available on the Acelera pyme platform
Will the beneficiary have to declare the aid?

The aid received by the beneficiary will be declared as income received.

Do I have to pay anything if I receive help?

The Value Added Tax, the General Indirect Canary Tax and the Tax on Production, Services and Imports incurred in the adoption of digitization solutions are not considered eligible for subsidy, so they must be paid by the beneficiary.

What type of grant will I receive?

The type of subsidy is in non-competitive competition (if you meet the requirements you can opt for the aid, on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are exhausted) and is delivered in the form of a "voucher" that will be redeemable for digital packages or solutions. The value of these bonds ranges between €1.500 and €15.000, as we have seen in similar calls.
