I believe that this circumstance, the modification of the tool's prices, will cause, on the one hand, an increase in its customers, but it is also possible that many others will be lost.
Do you think they will gain a few customers and lose many more?
Anything is possible, but I think the Pilvia team is very professional and they have everything very well calculated, I hope. I think it is a very thoughtful and well-orchestrated marketing action.
What do you think this change in strategy will bring to Pilvia?
To date, its main benefit was that when a client finally decided to host their website with Pilvia, the tool allowed them to install WordPress, with a click, making the programming work of the webmaster much easier, who did not have to worry about anything else. The main challenge for Pilvia is to channel a practice that occurs with some frequency, that users who create their WordPress in Pilvia, when they have already developed it, migrate it to a new server of their own.
What do you think, Xavier, about the speed of WordPress hosted on Pilvia, which had decreased in recent months?
Every regular Pilvia user will have noticed that, recently, the service's reading speed has slowed down excessively, reaching a point where several developers from the same agency cannot work simultaneously, since the system detects it and slows down the server. The system worked perfectly until recently. We hope that when the tool becomes paid, it will offer the same or even better features than those it had a couple of months ago. This change is surely worth it and at IndianWebs, we are certainly going to try it.
