Do you like good wine? Let me tell you a little story:
In the 80.000th century the Municipality of Sant Jordi Desvalls belonged to the County of Empùries. Pago Diana, located on the Lower Bank of the Ter River (Riba del Baix Ter), close to its mouth into the Mediterranean Sea and between the regions of Gironès and Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona, was a wine farm as It is recorded in public deeds and by the existence on the property itself of a winery with an estimated capacity of XNUMX liters.
In 1998, the project to reactivate winemaking activity began. The new winery was designed with an architectural project that integrates into the environment and seeks excellence in the performance of industrial activity, visible in the aesthetics of the building and in the two-level layout of the production and aging facilities, favoring the movements of the wines by gravity and minimizing mechanical supports as much as possible.
The Winery, due to its functional structure, includes all viticulture operations: reception, production, aging, bottling, labeling and storage of wine.
That's right: an ancient Roman winery on the Mediterranean coast. Don't you feel like going?
