Its innovative project was based on two basic pillars: respect for the environment and aesthetic awareness. Using discarded materials, destined to become garbage and rot in Barcelona's landfills, they created bags, backpacks and even umbrellas.

Each of the products have been made following an elaborate and careful process. First, the materials must be selected, which are taken to the workshop and cleaned so that they are perfect. Then they are cut and sewn following one of the magnificent patterns they have at Demano. Throughout the entire process, Demano has the collaboration of small workshops in Barcelona, ​​without the help of which none of its products could come to light. In addition, Demano has won several awards. In 2003 she won the Disseny pel recycling, an award granted by the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Catalan Recycling Center and the European Institute of Design. In 2006 they won the Compañía Emprendedora, an award given by Barcelona Activa and the Barcelona City Council and in 2010 the 1st. Prix ​​Européen de l'entreprenariat Féminin.
