The OCUC was founded more than 35 years ago as a private, non-profit, democratic and independent association, with the main objective of defending, educating, disseminating and promoting the rights of consumers and users in Catalonia.

It was a group of people, like you and me, who for a series of reasons and situations decided to come together to defend themselves against what they considered to be certain abuses by companies. 

Whether you are a member of the OCUC or not, they assist you with the utmost interest and explain the steps you must follow to solve your problem. The OCUC team, which currently consists of 10 people, is made up of consumer technicians, lawyers and administrators with the necessary knowledge to respond, quickly and effectively, to any consumer question.

If at the end of the month, for example, you receive an invoice again that you disagree with and the company on duty ignores you, you know who you can go to.
