What is a domain transfer? A domain move or transfer is a change of managing registrar, and does not imply any additional changes. Domain contact information is not modified during the domain move process, and the same is true for each domain's DNS information. Everything remains the same so that our domain continues to have the same ownership or whois data and so that we can continue viewing our website at all times. A transfer or transfer of a domain name is the change of the registrar of a domain. Domains are always the property and ownership of the client who contracts them, but registrar agents such as IndianWebs are in charge of managing their renewals and maintenance. As registrars we are only in charge of managing registrations, renewals or transfers of domains, and we will never be accredited as owners of the same.
