Free video calls on Whatsapp?

For just over a month, on Android devices, through WhatsApp, you can call for free. It is not yet available on iOS but they assure that it will be sooner rather than later. With this advance, the leader in instant messaging manages to match the service that applications such as Telegram or Line have been offering for some time. 

With this novelty implemented, rumors about WhatsApp appear again. According to several digital media, the next big step they want to take is to implement totally free video calls. This shows the desire to excel and continually improve.

In fact, these media assure that this is not a simple idea to be developed since they have been working on it for some time and have even carried out tests among the company's own employees. They even claim that this new service could be available next May.

Skype, FaceTime or Google Hangouts can now be alert because it seems that Whatsapp is not content with leading the world of instant messaging but wants to start monopolizing the sector and is more than willing to rub shoulders with companies and services established in said sector.
