The origins of the Lean method
The so-called Lean system dates back to the second post-war period thanks to the choice of the leaders of the automobile manufacturer Toyota to introduce a new production method compared to that created by Ford. Going into details, the formula is closely linked to the concept of kaizen, a Japanese expression that has only spread to Europe and America since 1993.

- Seiri, that is to better distinguish what is needed and what is not needed;
- Seiton, which is putting in order the elements considered essential;
- Seiso, that is, arranging the workplace in the best possible way from all points of view;
- Seiketsu, that is, focusing on repetitive methods to improve one's own work system;
- Shit, that is, making sure one's modus operandi spreads well ingrained.
