EyeOS launches the first professional version for companies of its web desktop

As reported by eyeOS, with this new product, companies can work in the Internet cloud in an "easy, controlled and very economical" way, and their employees will be able to access all their files, agenda, contact list, email and other applications from any eyeOS Professional Edition device. The eyeOS web desktop provides the organization that uses it with an Intranet in the form of a collaborative workspace that supports all the services used on a daily basis, such as editing office documents. According to estimates by some analysts, "Cloud computing" will grow in companies by more than 30% during 2011, and one in four companies will use cloud computing for their applications in the next two years. Pau Garcia-Milà, general director of eyeOS, explained that his company has developed software "to make life easier and more productive for business users, whether they want to work "offline", in a collaborative way or with an Android or iOS smartphone from anywhere in the world. The eyeOS Professional Edition will be marketed through a network of certified distributors both in Spain and in international markets.
