Internet users will be able to choose the information they share with the downloaded applications.

Mark Zuckerberg announced last Wednesday, at a conference held in San Francisco, that Facebook It will allow users to choose what information about their account the apps they download will know. This will give more freedom to users to protect privacy.

Previously, Facebook allowed application developers to log into the user's account on the social network or email. In this way, the user's data could be known by both the social network and the applications that were downloaded.

Zuckerberg announced that an anonymous registry will be created, in which it will be possible to decide line by line what personal information the application will be able to know. Mark has acknowledged that with the current method people were afraid of the consequences it entails, so "by giving people more power and control, they will trust the applications more. "That's positive for everyone."

The user will then choose whether the application can know their email, date of birth, and likes made. Name and gender will still be available for applications. This advance is expected to arrive in a few months.
