As smartphones spread, applications become more famous. According to the 2013 App Date report, four million applications are downloaded every day in Spain.

Here are some of the most original applications that have been presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

1.- Liopa

It is an ideal application for those who never remember their passwords. Instead of typing passwords, Liopa activates the camera and displays five randomly combined digits that the user must read. Depending on the movement of the lips, the application is able to determine if the person reading the code is who they should be.

The application uses 70 points that it places around the image of the mouth the first time one reads the numbers on the mobile. This reading helps you detect the identity of the speaker.

2.- Xooloo App Kids

The French company Xooloo has developed the App Kids application so that parents can share their mobile phone with their children without having to worry about them accessing inappropriate content. Just one button is enough to change the device interface. The wallpaper turns yellow and purple and the only apps it shows are the ones the parents have chosen.

It can be configured to show games, photos, videos... The usage time can also be programmed and once the limit time has arrived, the child no longer has access to the applications. Designed for children under five years of age, the application is available in English and French, and according to Xooloo at the Mobile World Congress, there will soon be a Spanish version.

3.- Newscron

Newscron offers a large number of Spanish newspapers completely free. Unlike other applications, Newscron has its own unique algorithm that allows you to organize news semantically.

The application is capable of selecting and filtering news from different newspapers, including local newspapers, and grouping them into stories. In this way, duplicate information is avoided and the user optimizes their time, being able to follow the evolution of a specific news item.

4.- Cam Me

This application takes photos remotely with your mobile. You just have to raise your arm and close your hand so that the application understands that you want an image. A few seconds later, the camera clicks. You also have the option of taking three photos in a row and presenting them as a classic photo booth. It's free, but only available for iPhones.

5.- Lok lok

With Lok lok, it is no longer necessary to leave the mobile lock screen to send life signals to friends or family. The first step is to create a group with the friends we want to stay in touch with. Having the device locked, just touch the screen once for it to light up and we can draw on it with our finger. Once we have finished, click on the send arrow. Immediately, the drawing will appear on the lock screen of all group members. The background image does not change, each one maintains their own. But on everyone's, the drawing appears. To delete it, you have to touch the screen with two fingers so that a circle appears that can be made larger or smaller by separating and joining the fingertips. If one deletes it, it is deleted for everyone.

In addition, it has an option to take photos or take those from our gallery, draw on them and also send them to our friends' lock screens.
