Julia Skovpen She is a specialist in the world of interior design, a field about which I hardly know more than four things. Suddenly, my interest and attention skyrocket: we begin to touch on an exciting topic like modernism, a movement that left great works in the architecture of the early 20th century thanks to people as well known as Gaudí o Domenech i Montaner. How does one of these works reach our days reinvented as a perfect "hotel with charm"?

Unfortunately, not all the buildings from that time were preserved properly, like real gems. But it is also true that, thanks to people like Julia, some reach our days with a splendor that - I dare say - surpasses or, at least equals, the brilliance of their best days.

This is the case of The Petit Palauet. This house, located in Canet de Mar, completely fell in love with Julia when she discovered it 6 years ago. Julia, who is an expert, tells me how much she loves antiques, period furniture, and buildings from that magical era. She then bet on The Petit Palauet and, once acquired, he studied all the possibilities of doing something with this spectacular corner. It was necessary to make renovations and pamper everything. The idea was to create inside the house 6 suites independents that will provide a cozy atmosphere, intimacy and a unique experience for lovers of modernism.

You won't be surprised if I tell you that when I saw the house my breath was taken away…. It is noticeable when someone is 100% involved in a project. You already know what I'm talking about.
