To differentiate the links in the search engines is very simple, since the SEM strategy requires sponsorship, that is, it is a paid link that is why it will be displayed in the search engine as an “ad” or similar. This type of links usually appears at the top or in one of the side areas.
However, when it comes to SEO, it does not have this label of “sponsored links” but rather they are links that are positioned naturally, so different positioning tools must be applied to be on the first search pages.
Defining an SEM strategy requires some knowledge so that the investment is amortized and so that more people click on the link. This implies that the strategy has to be applied in the short, medium and long term in order to obtain the expected results.
