In 1925 entrepreneurs already existed, yes. A young man named Joan Adell arrived in Blanes with the intention of opening a pharmacy. It happened that, at that time, the apothecary on Muralla Street put his shop up for sale and Joan bought it from him. Who was going to tell us what would happen? That is never known. What's more, you can only guess...
From there a laboratory and endless anecdotes were going to emerge. Difficult years and years of progress, the growth of the business, the opening of a second pharmacy in Blanes and the handover of the children. That's right, we are talking about an establishment with a long family tradition, one of which is already becoming scarce.
A few years ago the term "entrepreneur" became fashionable, but for María Adell Creixell this adjective is too small for her. María Ella took over the pharmacy on Anselm Clavé Street, turning it into a modern and exemplary establishment. Since then, the two family pharmacies have adapted to our times, so much so that they came to IndianWebs with the intention of infecting me and my colleagues with a little of their know-how (although I always insist that mine has no remedy).
As a curiosity, I will tell you one thing: they can assist you in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Polish and Russian... Plus, always with a smile. Almost nothing! 😀
