JULY 2011 Website: Addenda
Have any of you ever heard the word ADDENDA? I confess that when I heard it for the first time (not long ago) I had to go to the dictionary to overcome my ignorance and be able to live up to Daniel López and Mario Nuñez, two talents with a lot of ideas who come to my appointment and who are For me, the visible part of the publication that I am talking about on this occasion and that has just now been born.
So, I copy and paste from the dictionary: «(From the lat. addenda, the things that have to be added) 1. f. Appendix, especially to a book.»
This electronic journal is entirely managed by undergraduate, master's and doctoral students at the Pompeu Fabra University and aims to become the first step for students to enter the research world, always in the legal-economic field, to position ourselves.
Its root and reason for being is to encourage critical and reflective study through the preparation of notes related to the knowledge acquired in the different studies. For them, the term "note" implies assuming that Addenda was not originally created with the intention of being a source of doctrine. The goal is much more modest.
And... I see very good things in that modesty, so good that I think they deserve a prominent place in the present, because the future is too promising.
