This is the letter of introduction of a flamenco great. Ignacio, payo dancer, better known worldwide under his own stage name of IÑAKI MÁRQUEZ.

Iñaki has danced at the Grec Festival, at the Hospitalet Dance Show, at the Ciutat Vella Flamenco Festival, at the Música Viva de Vic, at the Summer Concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

He has performed in France, Sarajevo, London, Italy, Latvia, Prague, Belgium... But things are not easy. We all know it. And in their field they also have to be achieved with great effort, because the panorama of Flemish companies is quite deserted. 

«Yes, that is true -says Márquez-, in the first place there are very few programmers for the flamenco topic and there is no institutional aid. Flamenco in Catalonia is already popular culture and deserves more support. 

In 2005, Iñaki presented his own company in Barcelona and a year later he opened his dance school.
