The successor to Internet Explorer is called Edge

Project Spartan, under that name was the replacement for Internet Explorer. However, the North American company has presented it at the annual Build 2015 developer conference as Microsoft Edge and has revealed some details, in addition to revealing that it will come installed as standard with Windows 10.  

What is most striking is the minimalist appearance. In terms of usability, it is very simple. It also offers very functional tools such as a text highlighter and annotation creator.

The main novelty is the renewed version of Cortana, a voice assistant similar to Apple's Siri or Google Now.

The design is very adaptable to what users are looking for today. Clean appearance with few buttons and margins. Even so, they have decided to maintain the traditional image patterns with a logo that is very familiar.

A trial version is currently available only for those working with Windows 10. If you are not so lucky, you can investigate and browse further through media like The Verge, which are showing images of its interface.
