Google has launched Project Fi, its own virtual mobile operator. This has been made official on their official blog after they gave the exclusive at the last edition of the Mobile World Congress. It is true that this week The Washington Post published details about the project and stated that it would soon come to light.

The service is now available but access is restricted. Only people living in the United States who have the Nexus 6, Google's high-end model, can register.

Project Fi offers a service adaptable to where the user is, that is, it allows you to switch from a mobile data connection to a Wi-Fi connection. Two of the most important companies in the US, Sprint and T-Mobile, have merged with Google to provide data connections.

The combination and adaptation depending on the location are the weapons that they will use to compete with conventional telephone operators. Savings on the bill being its great asset.
